I think that these articles were really fascinating. I knew that in today's world more people were getting a bachelors degree but I never realized how invaluable they are becoming. It is crazy to think that some jobs don't require a degree but people still go anyway where they could use the money for other things. It angers me in a way that my college education is not going to be as valuable as it would have been years ago. Personally, I believe a college degree should go very far. Today I know it is very hard for new college graduates to get a job, but I believe that it shouldn't be. Although a college degree may not be necessary for a certain job, a college degree takes a lot of work and effort and I believe that shows work ethic which is important in a job. However, I do agree when these articles say sometimes people go to school and major in something that will not help them in the long run to get a job. Sometimes, I feel as though this is just a waste of an education. These articles were very true to their facts and it scares me to know that when I get out of college I may not be as able to get a job even with the degree of education I am getting.
